  12. "try"  Chinese Checkers and other programs before you  "buy"
  13. them.   If you try Chinese Checkers and continue to use  it,

  15. you the latest Deluxe Version of Chinese Checkers.

  124. distributed  as shareware, which means that you may try  the
  125. software  before  you pay for it.  However,  you  must  stop
  126. using  Chinese Checkers and remove it from your computer  if
  127. you decide not to pay the license fee.

  153. We  at ImagiSOFT enjoyed creating Chinese Checkers.   David,
  154. is primarily responsible for Chinese Checkers.  He spent six
  155. tedious  months working in assembly language developing  the
  156. user  interface, and another four weeks  developing  Chinese
  157. Checkers itself.  One year later, David spent another  month
  158. implementing  the most often requested suggestions  for  our
  159. Deluxe Version 2.0.  Russ spent a week on the artwork --  we
  160. have  received  hundreds of letters applauding  his  talent!
  161. The  newest member of our team, Robert Allen,  composed  the
  162. music.   Our quality control people, Kathy, and Dorine  gave
  163. this  program  a thorough work out before they  signed  off.

  226.                DISTRIBUTING CHINESE CHECKERS

  228. Anyone  distributing  Chinese  Checkers  for  any  kind   of
  229. remuneration  MUST  agree  with  the  following  terms   and
  230. conditions prior to distributing it:

  232.     1. The distributor recognizes that ImagiSOFT, Inc.  owns
  233.        all   rights   for   Chinese   Checkers,    including
  234.        distribution rights.
  235.  
  236.     2. The  distributor  agrees  that  ImagiSOFT,  Inc.  can
  237.        withdraw   its  permission  to   distribute   Chinese
  238.        Checkers at any time.
  239.  
  240.     3. When requested to do so in writing by ImagiSOFT,  and
  241.        after  receiving  a new version of  Chinese  Checkers
  242.        from  ImagiSOFT,  the  distributor  agrees  to  begin
  243.        distributing the new version within sixty days.

  245.     4. The  distributor agrees to use the names  "ImagiSOFT"
  246.        and   "Chinese  Checkers"  in  all  printed   product
  247.        descriptions.

  249.     5. The   distributor   will  attempt  to   educate   the
  250.        prospective buyer about the shareware concept in  its
  251.        printed  literature  or packaging.   These  materials
  252.        must  inform  the user that if  they  find  shareware
  253.        programs  useful,  they should pay  the  registration
  254.        fee.   In no event will a distributor be  allowed  to
  255.        state or imply that the user is "buying" the  Chinese
  256.        Checkers program.

  258.     6. The   distributor  recognizes  that  its   right   to
  259.        distribute Chinese Checkers is nonexclusive.

  261.     7. Distributors   who  manufacture,  package,  or   vend
  262.        ImagiSOFT's Chinese Checkers program with the  intent
  263.        of having it sold to end users for more than $4.00 US
  264.        (quantity   one  pricing,  exclusive   of   shipping,
  265.        handling,    or   taxes)   MUST    receive    written
  266.        authorization   from   ImagiSOFT,  Inc.,   prior   to
  267.        distributing it.

  269. Authorization    to   distribute   Chinese    Checkers    is
  270. automatically  granted to distributors who comply  with  the
  271. above requirements, and such distributors may begin offering
  272. Chinese  Checkers  immediately.  However,  distributors  may
  273. want  to contact ImagiSOFT, Inc. at the address below for  a
  274. copy   of   the   latest  version   of   Chinese   Checkers,
  275. MOVIES TO GO!, and other products we have developed.

  277. If  you  are  going  to distribute  Chinese  Checkers  in  a
  278. compressed  file,  please use the name  CCHECK20.???  (.ZIP,
  279. distribute  our original CCHECK20.ZIP whenever  possible  so
  280. that  new users can be assured that they aren't receiving  a
  281. program infected with a virus.
